2nd place in 47.3. Well off his best. Maybe still tired from Worlds?

Better suited for the 5km 😅
how many hurdles did he skip?
He should be focusing on Transcons at this point.
S/O to Kyron he did something Rai Benjamin soft ass couldn't do
it's his karma for constantly cheating on the 2nd hurdle. Yes, he got away with it, opponents too stupid to notice in time. But no, fate does not approve!
He was saving it for Budapest.

He said to swedish SVT: "I was a bit tired after celebrating the WC gold. Today I was beaten and I have to take it like a man. I feel the champagne in my thigh from the victory party, says Warholm with a grin."
Warholm was obviously tired and his speed suffered. That's the first time in memory that he has botched his stride pattern when healthy. He always takes 13 through 9 and 15 on 10. Today he lost momentum and had to take 15 on 9 and 10.
Imagine having a "bad" race and still being second at only 0.03 seconds of the winner + getting 6,000 USD.
The only dissapointed runner of the race. Just watch the video again and see the happiness of Dos Santos after crossing the finish...
"Tired" isn't an excuse when he was beaten by the silver medallist at Worlds. They both went through the same thing.
Depends on what he did to get tired. Perhaps they celebrated differently - although the focus could be more on McMaster running well, rather than Warholm running poorly. Thank god there were no message boards back in the day. Any poor race (for any reason) after an Olympics (before WC even started) and you would be flamed. Imagine what Viren would have gone through.
