He won the most important race of the year. He can do whatever he wants. All the Jakob simps who’ve been defending his side comments and antics all year will be the same people crying over this.
I would also take the opportunity to celebrate my insane upset victory against what to be honest is the most arrogant star in track. It's just fun & games, he knows that Jakob will be favored to beat him the next time they meet, why not try to get into his head?

celebrate as much as you want, but petty childish memes?!

each to their own i guess….
It's so funny to me seeing the same people who love Jakob being "honest" getting so upset over a few memes by the CHAMP.

That's a bad take.
I don't particularly care for Jakob and was perfectly happy to see him lose. I was happy to see Kerr have the accomplishment of a lifetime and thought he ran a great race.
I find this to be childish and beneath what I would expect from a newly crowned World Champion.
And I am not crying about it. I don't have that level of emotional investment by a long shot. In fact, I hardly care at all.
But the tiny bit of care that I have says this is pretty weak sauce.
Athletes are supposed to talk trash. This whole distance stars have to be humble and nice is why track is such a lame sport for the rest of the world. Also, I love Jakob, but is the most arrogant guy and overconfident guy in the game. Let Kerr talk all the trash he wants because Jakob is quick to be a showoff anytime he pleases. I think its great for the sport to have personalities with swagger.
