wejo, when was the last time you "just got back" from an actual run? Months? Years?

I'll never understand why someone who doesn't run cares about owning a running website.

Your comment makes no sense.. You just like to complain. Why shouldn't an ex runner still care about running? Lots of ex football players still care a lot about football.

It's 90 degrees here and i'm working till 4:30 am. Definitely wasn't going to go running at 2pm. But even if I woke up and banged out a 13 miler I might want to go do something cultural here.

I love running and the sport of running.

I ran into 8 people I knew there.

On the way in, I said to Jon "hey those are the letsrun guys" talking about 2 guys who were at the LetsRun meetup. Sort of laughed I was calling them the Letsrun guys.

Then a guy from DC and his girlfriend who is in Berlin came up to us and said hello. Then a guy from New Jersey and his wife said hello and two journalists from the UK.

These are all over Europe. Particularly a thing in central and Eastern Europe. It’s a very nice surprised for Americans and Anglos how decent, clean, cheap and safe things are in Central and Eastern Europe (it was for me). The spas are the best, and hardly ever rammed. People are respectful and don’t get silly, even when they serve you alcoholic drinks in the pool, you don’t get people going crazy. It’s nice. Ditto for museums and other cultural centers, which are also great for kids - there is always something for the kids. Add excellent bike paths and a more relaxed way of life. The down side: people can come across as a bit harsh and are no where near as chatty and smiley as Anglos and Americans.
It’s nice to be able to breathe and not fear being robbed and attacked like in Western Europe, the UK and the USA these days.

I wonder the same, why all non-politicians write about politics...
