Him and Omanyala have too much ego thing going on! When they talk they seem to make everyone think they already have the gold and the world record and that other runners are just hobbyjoggers! They should talk less, work more, focusing on each race as it comes then celebrate after winning the finals. Omanyala got handed the second chance by Kerley. We watching closely what he does with that chance because in my opinion both him and Kerley didn't deserve a second chance.

And true to my thoughts Omanyala disappoints in the finals. That chance should have been given to someone else.

Fred knew his time was short so he yakked it up and snagged some sponsorships: first the switch to ASICS, then Oakley and recently TAG Heuer. Any other athlete should do likewise. Athletic careers are as fragile as butterflies. Make the money when you can because the opportunities are fleeting. Will be interesting to see if Fred now moves back to the 400. Perhaps his ankles really are in bad shape preventing him from running curves. He may as well try changing-up his training and prehab and stick to the 100 a bit longer. Regardless, he purchased his ranch and will soon become a farmer. Best wishes to him.

Decades of bitter warfare resulted in a stable peace where you can wear shorts alone, or tights alone, as long as the tights themselves are not shorts. Full or half tights.

Quarter tights the same size as split shorts are a deliberate attempt to upset this delicate balance. It would cause absolute chaos, rioting in the streets, human feces to appear in public parks, the whole nine yards.
