The most he won after the Olympics was the 60 meters after that his success have declined dramatically I like him but i gotta keep it real what are the chances he was never clean ?
Happens all the time with sprinters. Running balls out meet after meet can take a quick toll. Depending on the injury a sprinter often can't compete for a medal with an injury, even a minor one.
It's possible that anyone is doping, but this guy ran indoors after the Olympics and looked great. He had difficulties with injuries this year and last, but he came back to win Europeans last year and to his credit, showed up to World's this year knowing that he isn't in great form. I don't know why it's so difficult to believe that people get injured. It's pretty easy to do when you're training hard.

Oh you sweet summer child. There is no Santa Claus and half of the Italian track team was sauced under cover of Covid for those games.
the longest periods of inaccessible testing (during the leadup) in history. 1500m bronze medalist Josh Kerr has noted he was in that time zone for x number of weeks and was only tested following the final.
Italy took advantage of the playing field that was established, kudos to them.

There is like zero chance that half the Italian was sauces. I might believe 80%....

Is fire hot, one of the most obvious dopers who took advantage of a Covid cheat code.
What's happening with Marcelle Jacobs is not unusual for sprinters at all. Examples:
Walter Dix - Olympic 100M/200M bronze in Beijing. Signed multimillion dollar deal with Adidas. Had injury issues and not did medal again til WC in 2011. He got injured in 2012 and was never heard from again.
Yohan Blake - 100M World Champion in 2011, Olympic 100/200M silver medalist in London 2012. Got injured and though he still competes he has never been the same since and will likely never win an individual medal of any color again at a major championship.
Richard Thompson - 2008 Olympic Beijing 100m silver medalist and NCAA star. Made a few blips here and there after that but Beijing was his only individual medal.
Trayvon Bromell - WC Bronze in 2015 and 2022, but has been plagued with injury problems limiting his potential.
Once you pull a hamstring you have a significantly increased risk of future hamstring injuries, it is just part of the grind and also getting older
I think it is good Marcel Jacobs is posting less dumb stuff on his IG and is now focusing on his training. I think he is good for a 10.00 this season, hopefully that is enough to get him into the finals
I don't think he is a doper, he is just a guy who peaked at the perfect time in his life/Olympic season. He still has a few years left before father time bends him over a barrel, I have faith in him
