I want Keely to win. She shows up when she’s knows she might lose and remains hungry for the win. Bounces back from defeat.
I don’t love Mary’s tactics but obviously they worked against Keely last time. But Keely still has the fastest time this year and her Paris DL run was impressive.
Mu is a fantastic runner, I’d love to see her race more though.
Because of the Mu/Kersee antics I've gone from 100% Mu to 70/30 Keely over Mu. As an American I'd still be a little happy to see Mu win, and to keep up her win streak. But I'd now be much more pleased for Keely to finally win a global title after two runner-up finishes. I also am convinced that it would be better for Mu to lose and get it out of the way.

It's hard to root for Mu when she refuses to race at all. She loves attention, she'll model and showboat at every meet she races but then hides for 99% of the season.
Cheering for Moraa or Keely. If Kersee pulls all this BS and Athing still wins he's only going to double down on his policy of racing her in one 800m all season. I actually want to see her race more - cheering for her in 2021 was so much fun. But I don't think anything changes if she wins another gold.
It's not just not racing them that sucks, it's how he pulls them out last second sometimes when they they're already warming up, and then throws some disingenuous crap in an explanatory statement. It sucks as a fan.
But if Mu wins gold, Kersee can say "at the end of the day all that matters is winning gold" and as the sport is set up right now he's right.
