I am the 1st one that should of question of dropping over .5 of a second in the 100m. He ran in Missouri at a small school in Principa,Mo. He won the small class 100m in a wind aided time of 10.41 All time meet record was 10.42 legal by Maurice Mitchell. Fast forward to him and all of his performances. 1st when he ran 20.43 and all of our eyes myself included should of been opened. Then to run 9.83 windy and 19.79 in April to running 9.89 legal 3 months later. No sprinter should have that kind of progression " naturally". I should of questioned these eye popping performances starting back in April. I dropped the ball on this one.
I knew he was on drugs when he ran that super quick time.Teenagers cannot run 9.89 naturally.I dont even believe a clean fully adult man can run that fast, naturally.
Carl Lewis ran 9.92 in Seoul. Wasn't he covered up by USADA at the time? And Asinga ran faster than that.
lewis had something like cough medicine ingredients covered up. i think it might even be the case that whatever he had in him wouldn't even be illegal today.

I agree even for teenager growth at that speed you don't just drop time like that, half a second is around a full 5 meter gap...
I personally believe that one day there will be a genetic freak raised in the right environment with a well to do upbringing with good modern nutrition, etc... who probably will run that fast, most top tier sprinters were teenage prodigies
Assinga's case is going to loom large over all high school athletes for awhile, truly a shame, though also someone needs to get to the bottom of how someone so young got access to such a compound, he definitely wasn't alone and it makes you wonder what kind of rabbit hole there might be with very unethical coaches at this level of the sport, not that I trust the authorities to actually get to the bottom of it

Fresh out of Peter Bol’s testing mess up I’m surprised you’re so quick to judge. The AIU is going to be testing his B sample before the world champs next week before a final verdict is made.

I downvoted due to your use of "of" instead of "have." Take some pride in your grammar, please.
If you don’t think 9.89 is possible clean by an adult then you are very delusional and if you apply the same bar to every other event then I wonder why you’d be interested in the sport at all!

Lol at believing that whole bol farce and thinking he’s clean. You lot are gullible.
not that I trust the authorities to actually get to the bottom of it
What authorities? Doping agencies have no power when it comes to investigating these things, and GW1516 is not illegal in the criminal sense, since it's not approved for human consumption. I have a feeling Asinga's lawyers will magically turn up a contaminated supplement, and all will be "normal" again.
