The logic the "community activitists" have when trying to call out the police for putting a LOCKED truck full of these sneakers/shoes in a poorer neighborhood is asanine. Completely deflect away from the people who broke into the truck and took things that they didn't pay for (aka breaking and entering and theft) and instead get mad at the police for putting the bait vehicle in the neighborhood to catch people doing this.
I thought this was going to be about how other shoe companies steal all of Nike's designs, tech, ideas.
Nike was founded by stealing designs from Asics.
Not the way I understand it... I thought early Nike outsourced their production to onitsuka (precursor to Asics), who then started selling Nike designs under the onitsuka brand name. That was an obvious deal breaker...
