She has been at the heart of everything this team has done, both on and off the pitch, for years but that won't help the disappointment of today's defeat just yet.

Wow. I never knew so many soccer fans hate her. She has represented our country well over her brilliant career.

Agreed. Very few athletes who stay in their sport into their late 30s are able to go out on top. That doesn’t take away from everything they accomplished when they were younger.

She is not going out on top. She is riding the bench and missing penalty kicks which would have won the game.

Yes, that’s exactly my point. Like the vast majority of athletes, she wasn’t able to go out on top. That doesn’t take away from her previous accomplishments.

She/he/it is all messed up. This shows exactly why Trump still has a good chance to beat Biden in 2024, no matter how bad Trump’s legal situation is.
