Yeah NCAA champs are the reasonable comp for European U23s except harder. Nobody is begrudging her benefitting from an unfair system just acting like the WC qualifications vis a vis Tuohy is at all fair to say. Tuohy could qualify for Ireland pretty much any year too were she Irish.

Tuohy is only ranked that high in the 5k because her indoor 3k was worth 1294 points, 100 points more than her best 5k earned her. Tuohy still has never broken 15. Tuohy will never beat Henes in the 5k. She's not even in the ballpark as Cranny or Monson.

I mean nor is O’Sullivan. She just ran a 1,000 about 2.5 seconds behind Caldwell/Hall. She’s in about 4:05 shape even if she beat 2:01/4:02 Healy who tried to win the whole way from the front and misjudged it. Also kinda crazy to say Tuohy will never beat Henes. I guess we’ll see. Tuohy’s indoor 3k might be a bit over ranked but it was also a great run beating Cranny. The comparison is misguided and dumb as far as making Worlds teams. O’Sullivan has an easy path, whereas Tuohy has a gauntlet.

I was frustrated with Sophie for her racing antics during the prelim at NCAA’s. But if this can trigger all the annoying tuohy fans all here, I’m all for her now!!! Let’s go Sophie!! You made it and everybody’s favorite idol didn’t (no shade to katelyn, just her die hard fans that play with tuohy dolls every night before bed).
Here you go with age crap again. But you forget that train of thought when it is pointed out that Cook is faster than Tuohyvwas at her age. And your favorite runner Wiley is much faster than Tuohy. Tuohy is done. O'Sullivan is a stud. She embarrassed Tuohy in the prelim and is going to world's.
