I actually am, a bit. I don’t know this athlete on a personal level, I just think transferring twice so quickly must mentally be pretty difficult.
Do we foresee Dahlia Frias doing the same?

Parker Valby, Flomena Asekol, Amelia Mazza-Downie, Elise Thorner, Mia Barnett ... that's got a nice (NCAA Championship) ring to it. Asekol is a 4:11 runner so comparable to Barnett at the distance. Florida beach life; SoCal without the taxes.

Leah Stephens just decommited to FSU and commited to NC State like last week which is why I included NC Stare. Florida got like 4 big names late spring. Doubt Mia would take a partial scholarship.

Find some NIL money - other schools seem to be doing this. Florida just had Valby and then within like a week of transfer portal activity they suddenly had an entire competitive XC team. Can’t all be scholarship money.

Funny that his fans claimed that she merely was going home. Boom. Coach change and she is on the move. Sort of implicates Brosnan even more.

Why on earth would the girl (who’s really not an XC girl) fly back across the country into an inferior school for 1500m runners (which she is) in the same conference of a superior school for 1500m runners (which uva is) which she just left?

and don’t tell me it’s to help nc state win their third XC title. and please don’t tell me nc state is a 1500 school and use touhy (who would’ve been great anywhere) as your example…please think

It should be, Barnett to Duke, Frias to Alabama and McDonnell to UVA. Seems like the most equitable way to make everyone whole.
