What's next for Sean Brosnan?

The historic Head Coach of Newbury Park High School, Sean Brosnan was fired last night by UCLA, meaning that he will not return for a 2nd season.

There are many different speculations on the reason for his firing, as some are saying that he committed Recruiting and Transfer Violations, while some people believe that it is simply politics between different coaches and directors within the business.

Sean said in an interview that he will not return return to High School coaching, meaning that he will not return to Newbury Park. He said that he is considering staying in within the collegiate running coaching business, and also post-collegiate coaching business.

What do we think that he should do? And for which school/team?

He coached two families with talented kids to success. He wasn't some magic maker.

As soon as "The Rise" video was taken down I knew he would no longer be at UCLA. Sucks because regardless of how an individual is you cant wish for anyone to get fired. I hope he finds a better opportunity down the road.

Had that jace kid and took a lot of other “regular” talent kids to pretty good performances. I guess we see what our bias allows us though.

One thing I would say that perhaps led to his contract not being renewed was that he was traveling extensively to meets. I saw him at Hoka, I saw him at Brooks, and I saw him at Nike. Perhaps he exceeded his recruiting budget and simply didn't care, living the life on the road and in the spotlight.
