Honestly, from a physiological standpoint, being forced to take two years off from training, and then being thrown into the top of the NCAA competition coming back from that would be absolutely miserable, regardless of age. So you're 20 and you just took two years off and that is supposed to be a positive experience athletically? Or 21? Makes no difference. I competed in a Power 5 conference, and the idea of taking two years off and then being expected to get back to competing sounds absolutely miserable.
I honestly don't understand the bigotry and intolerance toward them as well. So you disagree with their beliefs...so what? For the majority of this site being liberals (based on the poll LRC did on the last presidential election, over 70% of LRC voted Biden), it is interesting that so many of you consider yourselves to be "open minded" and tolerant, but you pick and choose which religions you are tolerant of?
Give me a break. It is like certain religions go in and out with liberals, regardless of the extreme sexism in the Muslim faith, it is considered taboo for liberals to speak out against the Muslim faith, but somehow it is all good to be intolerant of any form of Christianity? Even when the most extreme sexism is found in the Muslim faith?
The double standards defy all logic, and the intolerance is beyond nauseating.
Can anyone rationalize picking and choosing which faiths you will be bigoted towards?
