I realise a post is already up about Beamish’s 3000m Steeple Performance but just noticed he also broke the nearly 40yr old NZ and Oceania record in the event set by the great Peter Renner way back in 1984 which was 8:14.05. One of NZ’s oldest records to be broken. So an extra big hats off to him! Although doesn’t quite compare to Snell’s 800m record of 1:44.3 run on grass in crocs which still stands from 1962.

The topic was laid to rest yesterday but some people who I can only assume are ANZ affiliated are dragging it on by continuing to add commentary. In the case above about a topic entirely not ANZ related.

I don't understand why the crazies support Jake Robertson. If he went to the World Half Marathon he would DNF. Robertsons don't do well at legit events where they could get pinged for glowing.

NZ has quite a few old records. For instance, Nick Willis never broke John Walker's mile record.
