Seethe.
She looked like she had an extra gear or two left, too. She's gunna run 13:55 next haha.
Probably in the too big to fail category.
Too big to fail. We'll have to wait she gets tired of all the winning. Disgusting.
Too big to fail at this point. Coached by Kipchoge’s coach. That dude could murder someone on the front steps of the capitol, and no one would say anything. Probably as highly protected as there ever would be if that kind of thing actually exists.
indeed, that was my first thought when she finished barely breathing and jumping up an down...usually if something appears too good to be true it usually it is. It's honestly sad dope was my first thought watching the 1500, 5K, and mile records.
With the number of positive tests coming out of Kenya, I'm not sure what to believe
yes. her, Kipchoge, Jakob, and McLaughlin will never test positive
Yep have always given people the benefit of the doubt but now it’s in the realms of unbelievable. Was actually fun watching Katir gradually run out of juice in the 5000
McLaughlin? She isn't even within a second of the world 400 record. She doesn't need to be on drugs to miss the world record by more than a second.
Boo hoo she ran the equivalent to her 1500m time. Women's running has lacked depth forever lmao it makes sense a star like this is emerging. America would probably have an AR faster than 4:16 if we had a semi decent youth club system and if all the money wasn't in other sports. Or if there was money in any women's sports at all. Or if there was a culture of female distance running before like 1980 lmao. Cry harder but this doesn't surprise me at all.
And Mondo.
Surely you aren’t this stupid.

They might actually test positive (or already did?) but won't ever get banned imo.
She is just popping anything for her final retirement fund show. Do you think these people care if they get caught? All she cares is how much money she will still get to keep.

Her mega doped 1500 world record?
I dont think she'll get popped. She's too important to the sport.
I rarely accuse athletes of doping, but this is just about the most ridiculous thing I have seen since Wang Junxia and Florence Griffith Joyner.
Sifan Hassan accomplished one of the most incredible triples in history only two years ago in Tokyo and holds 3 of the top-5 times in history, and Kipyegon just ran FIVE SECONDS faster than Hassan has ever run? FIVE SECONDS faster than anybody has ever run? Let's not forget she had a child only a couple years ago, too.
Look at the 1500 list. Kipyegon has 7 of the top-14 times in history. Who else is in the top-14? Qu Yunxia (Ma's Army), Jiang Bo (Ma's Army), Lang Yinglai (Ma's Army), Wang Junxia (Ma's Army), Tatyana Kazankina (80s Soviet Union), Sifan Hassan (arguably the greatest ever), and Genzebe Dibaba. And yet she DOMINATES them. Not even some of the most drugged up athletes in history can compete.

4:12 is nowhere near equivalent to the 3:50's that had already been ran for years.
As for doping, my forming hypothesis is that someone's coach/doctor figured out bicarbonate can be taken intravenously to bypass diarrhea. Limit w/o a TUE is 100mL in 12 hours.
I'll let someone calculate how much bicarbonate can be dissolved in 100mL of water. But this is already done medically for some types of acidemia. Could it really be this simple?
