as the title says my legs have felt better since increasing mileage, contrary to what i was expecting of bad fatigue and and no leg snappiness
last winter i went from 35 mpw to 60 mpw in literally one week and held it for 16 weeks and legs felt great and run so much better
similarly this summer i went 60 - 80 mpw and my tempos have gotten 30 secs faster and long runs almost a minute a mile if i push the pace, easy runs i still run slow and at a low heart rate but that pace is also increasing, i now recover incredibly quick it feels like (less than 6 hours for my double which i almost feel fresh on)
i haven’t been running for much more than 18 months and i’m going to be a junior in high school, am i a future marathoner or something? i never thought of myself as slow twitch since i played fast twitch sports growing up but i started running a lot of miles and my endurance has improved incredibly quick (18:40- 16:01 for 5k in 9 months)
