Nice reminder.
"Lord Coe has described allegations of widespread doping in athletics as a "declaration of war" and says it is time to "come out fighting" to protect the sport's reputation."
Surely he knew better than to argue against the presence of "widespread doping", but the PR is strong in this one. With him at the top, that will never change (aside from some cosmetic changes such as going hard after one selected country).
Coe must go.

There of course is a wikipedia entry for everything
but tl;dr "gold label" has the strictest standards and requirements for elite field, etc.
ie. all world marathon majors are "gold label"
(but now just to confuse things they introduced "platinum label" and even changed the wording to "elite")
