The men’s 800 seems like the hardest event to predict in Monaco. Wanyonyi, Arop, Sedjati, Moula and Kinyamal all have a SB between 1:43.27 and 1:43.56. I could see any of those 5 winning on Friday.

Laura Muir will definitely not break 4:20 in that race. She’s not been at her best this season

Heh, we’ll see. It hasn’t been quite up to her standards but she has run 1:57 and 3:57 outdoors already. Stockholm was rainy and tactical so I wouldn’t read much into her time of 4:03.83. The British Championship final started extremely slow so her time is meaningless, and though Snowden upset her she did beat Melissa Courtney-Bryant, who subsequently ran 3:58 flat on Sunday.

Also, here's a little experiment I made today:

You type in a list of athletes plus their hypothetical year of competition and an event, and the TrackBot AI will generate a match race prediction and preview for you. The AI used for this is a little "dumber" than the one used for the DL predictions, so it may say silly things sometimes, but I can improve that.

For example, you could say "predict a 1500m race between Hicham el Guerrouj in 2000, Jakob Ingebrigtsen in 2023, and Asbel Kiprop in 2015" like this:

And it would generate a prediction similar to those in the fantasy DL. It uses the World Athletics / all-athletics database for results. It might go temporarily down as I'm working on it from time to time, I'll make a thread some time later when it's improved. Have fun!

The Women’s 5000m was the toughest for me to predict for London. I’m definitely taking Hassan, Tsegay and Chebet as my three picks but I’ve been debating their order all day today. I’m also interested to see how Haylom holds up in the 5k.

Official protest lodged on Russell being given second there. Shamier looked like she had it.

A few minutes after each event finishes the site re-checks all the previous events, so if there is a change in the order on the online results before the end of the meet everyone's score will be retroactively updated. It shows as official for me now though.

Funny that I went to check the photo finish, and Femke was so far ahead that Little and Russell didn't even make the shot.

I'm a bit lost on the overall leaderboard status. Every meet has its own overall leaderboard, but is there a leaderboard for all meets combined? Where can I find that one? or is the leaderboard in the latest meet (i.e. London now) is the cumulative one already?
