C’mon now get fcking real.I've got nothing against Marcus (though the Nuguse stuff was inane) and wish him the best, but man he was terrible on the podcasts he used to do with Steve Magness. Poor guy babbled endlessly and had a difficult time stringing together a cogent point. Reminds me A LOT of Rojo on his podcasts. Rojo has something to say, but is incapable of saying it without listeners' ears bleeding from the verbal diarrhea. Not everyone is meant to do podcasts, that's for sure.

talk talk talk, talk is fake. Actions speak larger than words. We’ll evaluate how good of a coach this guy is in 3 years- after development and recruitment takes place, since this program went downhill really fast this past year.
Not even mike smith could bring this program together to what they were in the likes of 2 years, they really took some heavy hits. All the best of luck to this guy.

LETSRUN carries zero influence.
They bash this guy on the daily but he still lands a job.
They bash Nike and top athletes continue to sign with them.
They bash UAC and BTC and top athletes flock to run with them.
If Salazar came back to Coach he would have top athletes flocking to be with him.This board is a great place for people to come and scream about something but no one in any influential position pays any attention.

Not to derail the thread, but this is the sole reason I don't listen to the Letsrun podcasts. I think he needs speech therapy, or at least some heavy coaching. And it's disappointing because I really want to be able to listen to a well-informed podcast about running.
