But she is slower than younger Wiley and same age Mu is Olympic champ. So yes she is good but they are great. Nice to cheer for Tuohy but don't put down the superstars.
How many college women have placed better than 7th in the 5000 at USATF nationals? I'll bet it's a short list.

One runner has been fast since she was a 7th grader, the other runner became fast after training with coaches sued for doping their athletes. Yep. Sorry not sorry.

There are hundreds of threads on this forum alone putting down tuohy. The valbymania posts around xc Champs were like 50 in 2 days alone. Who is putting down Mu??

How was it a smart race? Her strategy of hanging back and moving up got her a better placing but she never attempted to stay with the lead pack. The idea wasn't to score points for the team it was to finish top 3. 7th or 17th - it's all the same in the end.
