That was the opposite of a foul. Harris backed off and put his hand up trying not to bump people.Leigh Diffey nailed it with his analysis.. If Harris fouled anyone, it was hoppel who made the team anyway. Pick up the flag and go home.

Any DQ in that race is an embarrassment to track.
If it were me, I'd DQ Hoppel. He cut off both Harris and Murphy. That was like a Nascar race without the cars, lol.
Clayton Murphy got shoved back in both altrecations. The first time by himself and the second time by Brice.

Why does it matter whether the fouled athlete went on to win, luckily for the fouler? When has that ever been a rule?

100%
I'm fine if an official wants to raise a flag just because they are watching it real speed, real time but this is a case where simply watching the replay a few times should end any discussion about DQ's.
It's a competitive, championship 800m race - it's hard and sh-t happens. Let's hope there is no drama.
Murphy literally pushes his way in every race and no one bats an eye. He did it like twice in this race.
Andy Scythe strikes again?
Why am I watching SRR and Benjamin eating pastries
Some of the 1500 guys should have doubled in the 800.
It’s not roller derby. If you want more contact, change the rules.

We’ve got a rules guy everyone. Enforce per the actual rules in any professional sport and it would look much different, you need some level of discretion and understanding by officials of what matters and doesn’t in impacting the outcome. Nothing that occurred in that race changed the outcome, move on.

Harris pushes and cuts people off in every race. But he gets a pass for obvious reasons. Same for CJ.
Still no finalized results? How many times do they need to watch the race before they can make a ruling? They make the NFL's replay review look efficient by comparison.
I wonder why you aren't still coaching
Looks like results are final now with no DQ.
