    Didn't even make the semifinal in the 1500.

    The young runners are destroying his PRs.

    Nike is regretting their long term contract with him.

    He’s still made like probably 500k his whole career. His problem is that nobody outside of letsrun will know his name.

    Why the hate? It is probably really, really hard to be a pro runner.

    And on Letsrun, people seem to hate you if you have "no personality," are focused on wins/times and "being professional" like Rupp was. But people also hate you if you have a ton of personality and live life to its fullest like Nick Symmonds or Craig Engels.

    I think Letsrun is a lose-lose environment for 95% of pro athletes. I know why you hate Goucher (spoke out for women), Eric Jenkins (never won as a pro), Galen Rupp (no personality), Mu (never races), Sydney (mad resting face), etc. You guys hate everyone...

    We “hate” because we care. At least we are not indifferent. These athletes are lucky anyone even discusses them. Remember that Ruxton.

    Plus when Craig talks as much trash as he does, people expect results. I still remember him saying he beats Yared 99 times out of 100 after Yared outkicked him for an Olympic berth

    Engels was never a world beater. He was US champ in a down year. His PB with Salazar was only 3:34. He ran 3:33 in 2021. He’s running 3:36/37 now after two years of injuries and losing motivation. Highly doubt a guy that ran 3:34 in his prime and 3:36 in a bad year is a prime suspect for doping lol.

    I saw a video where Engels paced Jessica Hull in a track workout.

    She looked kind of startled. It could have been that luscious mullet blowing in the wind, or it could have been something else. Only she knows.
