How to watch USATF Championships

    After looking it up, I am still unclear about how to ensure I can watch the USATF Championships, especially the main track finals.

    1) Does the USATFTV+ live stream cover the entire meet. If I get just that am I good?

    2) Does the USATFTV stream stop during the CNBC broadcast, or are they both simultaneously broadcasting the same thing?

    3)If they do both show the same events at the same time, does USATFTV have commercial breaks during the distance races?

    4) What service(s) do I need to sign up for to be able to watch all of the pro level track events?

    I am excited to watch the entire meet, but I especially do not want to miss the women's 10,000 or 5,000.

    You have to sign up for USATF.tv and Peacock to watch both the 5,000 and 10,000. The 10,000 is only going to be streamed live on USATF.tv. And then on the other nights, they will only have field events and whatever NBC doesn't want for their 2-hr Peacock broadcast. I'm not sure how CNBC plays into this—if it's live coverage will prob just mirror Peacock.

    It's really just a horrible way to cobble together coverage for the event. Anything not on NBC/Peacock should be streamed free on youtube if USATF wants any viewership.

    And is there any way to watch in the UK? I know the timing is odd but I’m not working at the moment so don’t really care.

    The USATF.TV stream of the track does stop when the CNBC/Peacock coverage takes place. I do not recall USATF.TV cutting to commercials during other events but others might have different memory than I. At least this USATF.TV does not have georestrictions like some do.

    As mentioned above the 10,000's will be on USATF.TV on Thursday night, while the 5,000s will be on CNBC/Peacock on Sunday night. The CNBC/Peacock coverage focuses on finals while most of the prelim and semifinal heats will be in USATF.TV windows.

    For other pro events you might consider Flotrack which frequently has rights to streaming of European events. Other "special" events in the US often have their own ppv charge.

    Watch the live results page lap by lap then watch the vids on yt the next day. But Mu the Great is at an unearthly hour and since she will probably either jog it or drop out I'll watch the replays in the morning.

    On various streaming channels available as part of Sling, I have been able to watch professional ultimate frisbee, corn hole tournaments, and professional lacrosse. The scant revenue raised by making die hard track fans pay for USATF's streaming service is well outweighed by the loss of visibility and publicity for T&F.

    USATF is total sh_t. Peacock is great ...all of the Diamond League meets are done well

    sorry forgot this one, what a freaking mess to be split across so many channels

    is NBC really that busy with the Olympic Channel just use that, it's 2023 bandwidth is easy and cheap now

    I also live outside the US, with no easy access to NBC, and unable to order Peacock since they require a US credit card (there are apparently services that let you work around this last issue, but they seem really sketchy and unreliable). Last year someone posted the events on YouTube very shortly after they happened, so hopefully again this year. But I don't know why USATF can't arrange with World Athletics to stream them on their channel for people in countries without Peacock.

    I'm hoping World Athletics will stream it on youtube for various countries. I use a VPN to watch from Bulgaria or Ireland. I watched the New York Grand Prix that way so I'm hopeful USAs will be there too
