Jakob did a very interesting interview post his 3.28.7 run in Lausanne with NRK (Norwegian state channel)
He indicates he is in the middle of a practice period , and will be in much better shape for Silesa July 16th. Norwegian press talks about him making a move at the WR then.
I think we will see a serious attempt and predict a low 3.26
A few of the interesting statements:
- It's kind of cool that even though it's not the best day, I manage to win pretty well. I feel I have good control and do a good job, says Ingebrigtsen to NRK. It starts quite well and I feel OK, but I can feel that my legs are getting some exercise from St Moritz. It's a bit heavy in the last 600-700 metres, but it responds quite well, even if it's not the best day, he adds.
- It was not my best day, I have more to go with
When asked what Ingebrigtsen's “bottom level” really is this year, he replies:
- That's 3.28, then.
