people will complain about lack of hotels in Charlottesville

there will be lots of traffic getting to the course

parking will be tight

people will say the course was short

I predict that NAU will spend 50 million more dollars on training equipment, get a bunch of top recruits, and act like the underdogs when they 4-peat

I wonder how their new recruit Aaron Sahlman will do

incoming transfer Aaron Las Heras...decent chance at placing in the Top 10 overall

They've got a new workout called "The Bruin."

25x400 on a 2 min cycle...sub 60.

They do it in the afternoons after a morning 30 min 10k threshold called "The Kareem."

My prediction: Harvard will surprise everyone. The men are looking good.

They are going to improve. Last year they had 2 Sophs / 2 freshmen / 1 junior scoring at NCAA champs.
How do you guys think the new commit Ferenc Kovacs will do?

Looks like this will be Aaron Las Heras’ last season of eligibility.

he already competed in 2019, 2020 (Covid year), 2021, and 2022

Blanks should be a top 3 or 4 favorite to win. Iverson should be a top 20-25 guy. Kovacs will make an immediate impact. They are retuning everyone else and if healthy they should definitely be in the top 10. This could be a very good team but it’s cross country and never know how things will play out.

UNC will be a team to watch for the next couple of years. They have a really solid junior class

This will be the last year of Casey Clinger’s xc eligibility. He already competed during fall 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2022

The thing is Prosser and Sahlman are question marks. Prosser has a once in a lifetime type of race last fall. He had never ran like that in the past and has been very inconsistent. Did nothing on the track this spring as well. Can NAU count on him to duplicate his 2022 19th place?

we all know Colin struggled in cross country last fall and although it seems like he’s gotten it together, he still has to prove himself in cross. 150th place ain’t helping.

Too many talented teams out there to be giving the crown to NAU. To me Oklahoma State is the favorite with BYU and Stanford right there. Also look for Oregon to make a come back this season.
