Super cool. This guy was part of a legendary class of CA runners in 2011 with the likes of Elias Gedyon, Ammar Moussa, and Jantzen Oshier. He represented the SD section pretty well against the big guns in the rest of the state.
I was waiting for someone to post this! Two days ago he won probably maybe money than Centro and Rupp have made their entire careers. The moment he won was pretty cool to watch, even if you don't know or care about poker.

I saw this post was bumped earlier (probably by a bot, because the comment is deleted), but it got me curious to see if this guy was a one-hit wonder in poker.
Nope.
Nearly $30 million in recorded earnings with 200 cashes and 14 titles.
Ranked #117 in 2025 by Card Player Magazine.
In addition to the win mentioned above, he has four other results that paid over $1 million (two of those this year) and another eight in the $500k to $865k range.

Some spammer bumped this thread. I was impressed with my poker and running exploits but I've clearly been surpassed.
Anyone play online these days? I played a ton and did fine in the few cash tournaments I played in as well, but once Black Friday hit I quit playing as much and then I got married and had kids but curious about the state of the online game in the US now.
I was hoping when Sportsbetting came back in US that onlike poker would come back but now that I'm in California I'd consider something off shore.

Check out brad Owen on Youtube. He is a pro that does videos and promotes playing online. I use to play online but Black Friday killed it for me as well. Have played a few times since at casinos.
