Are these weather conditions good? 59 F, 65% humidity, looks damp on the live stream
Crazy to suggest the over/under for sub four performances at least 3.5?
I believe Birnbaum is the only question mark having raced 2 days ago and the other contenders being fresh. I wanna see Leo escape 3:39 hell, but a Birnbaum win here would be triumphant.
Pretty compelling lineup!!
I want Leo to win but I don’t see Birnbaum losing, unless Burns pushes the pace early and Birnbaum is tired.
But I don’t see why Burns would push the pace, considering he really wants to beat Leo and Lex. I’m sure he learned his lesson from Hoka, and he knows everyone is going to fly past him on the last lap if he does that.
Honestly I’m leaning towards a slow race, where no one, or only one guy breaks four. Just because they all really want to win and probably won’t take the risk to lead, but I hope I’m wrong.
22.47 for a H.S. Girl (Jr.) just now. A portend of fast times to come?
Two races this week are in his legs.
damn rain
Might blow over by time the elites go off.
this bob commentator kinda ass, no? He said 76 split? 43:13? What are you talkin about
I can forsee the possibility of Lex taking the pace out for Leo.
plenty to say, sometimes is accurate
how many heats before elite race?
yes, he called that 1:06 split as a .76 second. What an a-hole, right?
Yes, he is an ass. The winner of the last heat closed in 60 secs, and he is like, "I think these guys missed an opportunity, they could have run 4:08 or 4:09." It was won in 4:12, and the guy was gassed. What does dude expect?
Which would be ironic justice, if, as I suspect, they competed against each other at NXN and it came back to bite them both.
Next heat is fast heat I think.......3-4 "emerging elite" then 4 "championship" heats

It depends on what's more important for Lex. His last chance in high school at breaking 4 minutes? Or helping Leo win the race?
Weather doesn’t look great
