There is some news I am so excited to share…I am starting a new chapter in my life and collegiate career by transferring to University of Colorado Boulder!! Deciding to transfer was a decision that I had made much earlier thi...

Starliper has a lot of posts about her love of trails and the outdoors. I bet she will be so happy there! I hope to see her back up and running this fall better than ever! Glad she has found her new team.

ouch, is that a dig at Coach Henes?
Reading the whole post, it kind of sounds like there is a lot of water under the bridge with the Wolfpack team and coaches. Seems like she has been unhappy there for a lot of the time. I really do hope this turns things around for her. It would be so cool to see her realize her full potential in college running.
Rumor has it that Wetmore has forgiven Wiley and she’ll also be in Boulder.
Added Tyynismaa. Seymour announced on IG a few weeks ago that she has a 6th yr available, so sounds like she could be back next year. A potential lineup of Tuohy, Chmiel, Tyynissma, Bush, Seymour, Rauber, Hartman for next year in XC. I think they'll be alright.
I wish her nothing but the best, she seems like a really nice person. She visited my daughters team (during her original visits before she committed to NCST) and was reportedly complaining the pace of the runs they all went on together were too slow and was assumed that's partly why she didn't choose the school, didn't think her training partners would run fast enough? (the school has great well known coaches and is top 10 rated school for xc) It was a small red flag to me as the point of a long run with a potential recruit i think is to chat get to know each other and see the surrounding areas of the town. Not hammer a workout. Anyways it hasn't surprised me that shes had some injuries considering her attitude about pacing? Wishing her best of luck at CU and hopefully the training is a good fit and she can recover well enough to run through her eligibility.

You couldn't possibly have been there and could only have heard this second hand. But it never happened.
A prospect knows that whatever she says even to the other runners will not only affect the next few years of her life with them but will also get back to the coaches. It's not worth it.
That you accuse me of being defensive just shows how manipulative you are.

sometimes it just doesn't work out with a coach. It happens. Natalie Cook left Oklahoma State after a year, Nevada Mareno left Stanford after a year. Sometimes you just gotta reset.
