He hasn't been the same since he caught Covid.

Vaccines!! Booga booga.
His first two 1500s last year were 3:48 and 3:44 and he still ran 12:56. Even during a career year in 2021 (3:29, 3:48 x2, 7:28), he only managed 13:20 in Florence. With that in mind, I don’t think his 13:23 last night is necessarily a death knell.
I’m not giving up on Stewy just yet, even if there’s a good chance his best days are behind him.
he stopped using epo,and whatever else hes been on.

How’d he run sub-13 at the end of last year, months after having had the vax and covid?
Imagine being this dumb

I still blame my parents for allowing the deep state to force the MMR vaccine on me. It's probably the reason i wasn't able to go pro.

I enjoy laughing at them. It's light years the best target practice and in such abundance around here.
if i remember correctly he DNF'd doha due to a hamstring injury so that's probably why he ran bad at florence too. He struggled after covid/ covid vaccine last year but raced his way into shape and ended the season with 3:30, 7:31 & 12:56 - no indication that it's effecting him at all this year
He was the second coming of Galen Rupp, as I said a couple years ago, and this is part of that Ruppness.
He's gone backwards as much as MK has gone forwards, yet not as many suspect him of drugs. That's how this site works.
He has just had some interruptions to his training. Simple as that. Barring further interruptions expect him to be back to his best in the coming months.
He needs a break from high mileage. He’s getting stiffer and stiffer each time I see him race. He needs a year of low mileage, speed work, agility work, and stretching.
Didn't he fall in the 5000m in Florence? Someone in blue took a big fall in the last few laps while in the pack. I know if I fell that late in a 5000m, I wouldn't exactly be springing back up to run the last 600m on pace.

No that was Andreas Almgren, the Swede, who was right on target for around 12:53-12:55, he was ahead of Kle Ker with 300 to go.
If he’s not in shape why would NB enter him in on one of the strongest 5000m fields assembled? Rayner also seemed underdone to pace that group through to 3k
