He ran 29:30ish last year, but he's already run 13:45 this year and he's in quick race. Unfortunately, the 10k record is probably one of the toughest ones in the books.

I'll give him about a 10% chance of getting it.

This actually makes me want to go to that meet. Dang. That kid has guts. He went after Pre's 2M record (missed by a few seconds) and then after Rupp's 3000m record (missed by 1 second).

Awesome stuff! It’s super cool to see him continuing to chase these higher distance events. I really wish Leo or Lex would go after it too, they obviously have the stamina to give it a run, but they seem to be on a different trajectory. It’s honestly been kind of weird to see Leo only going after 1500s this season, I hope he at least shoots for a 3k/2mile at some point before it’s all said and done.

Ty has way less than a 10% chance. That record is awesome. Sleep on that Ty.

It is a pretty insane record, I’d put it on the same level as LVs 8:29, and just behind Kesslers 3:34 and Webb’s 3:53

i think Gorze can probably get a sub 29, but not by a whole lot. I predict 28:52-56
