Was looking at results this morning and saw two guys ran 2:16 to OTQ, then when at Strava everyone had well under 26.2 for their runs today. Obviously GPS watches aren't perfect but usually they measure long instead of short because people don't run the tangents perfectly. Instead it shows:
- 26.04 for the winner, Zach Ripley
- 26.07 for the runner-up, Noah Steffen
- 26.06 for Garrett White
- 26.12 for Ethan Lievense
What gives? Did they mess up the course measurement or layout this year? Seems like a couple guys snagged OTQs that may not be legitimate.
