Then he beat Lorenz Herrman...who has a PB of 1:46 to win the 800m....
Both those guys would likely have won Pac 12's this year in those events. D2 quality?
Sahlman's talent is unreal.
Colin Sahlman has pbs of 3:38 and 1:46, Nico is a 10k runner and would have 0 chance of winning the PAC-12 1500 against Nathan Green and Ky Robinson running 51., 52. last laps. Lorenz Herrman is a solid 800m runner (won the last 3 Big Sky championships, 10th at NCAAs last outdoors), but not a giant scalp for someone who has ran faster than him this year. Still it’s good to see consistency from Sahlman, but we won’t really know anything until the 2nd round of regionals

He didn't say it was the best conference or that was it better than Pac 12, obviously just that it's not a "Fake conference" and that he did beat some solid runners.

That's fair, Nico wouldn't have out sprinted N. Green, but he has run 3:37....you compared the conference to D2 level. So you're the clown making outlandish statements, own it and go away.
Colin won two events at his conference meet as a freshman. What more can you expect? Criticize him if it makes you happy after the NCAA Championship meet.
