I don’t think you have any idea what it was like when Jesse Owens upstaged Adolf Hitler at the 1936 Olympics. But yeah I know Sha’Carri winning would be bigger….of course.
It's never good when ex drugs cheats win medals, and their results will always have asterisks next to them.
My negative thoughts about Shacarri are no secret, but she’s no drug cheat. Weed does absolutely nothing positive for your running, mostly just negative in fact. You can’t focus, the acute and chronic lung harm is obvious, and your mind body connection goes out the window, turning your head or standing up too quick will make you dizzy/nauseous let alone sprinting on a track.
Run either a mile or 100m all out, recover, and then do it again after smoking a bowl. If you can come within 15 seconds of your mile time or 1 second of your 100m time I’ll Venmo you 100 bucks.

And I think you are forgetting Zola Budd and Mary Decker

this nonsense again. its both a masking agent and a ped. it helps you relax and recover and is anti inflammatory. its a ped. obv it isnt if you take it five minutes before a race so dont be stupid.

oh, and roger bannister.
Your statement is nonsense. THC is not a PED in any way, shape, or form.
If she keeps her head on straight she will be one of the favorites for a world title in the 100 but it will not be anywhere close to being the greatest moment in track and field.
She reached a deal to miss the Olympics and have her "reputation" spared after a positive PED test that was not primarily for Marijuana. It was a real PED. But of course, those with the utmost power understand that track and field is a business to many. More PED positives from prevalent stars equates to less fans and revenue. Not rocket science.

Barely anyone knew who she was before 2021. She certainly wasn’t a global star. She burst on the scene then, and won the US title, but is that really enough clout to get this conspiracy protection against drug consequences? She wasn’t one-tenth the star she is now when all she was was “flamboyant loud woman who won the Trials” instead of “flamboyant loud woman who has a sob story that media can kind of portray with a racist element maybe, and who plays a damn fool on Instagram sometimes, and talks a lot of crap she can’t always back up.” THIS season, she might be able to back up some of the earlier crap-talk and beat the Jamaicans, sure, but you’re saying the powers have her special protection after just like, what, half a season of elite results? It just seems very unlikely. It would be more believable if it happened now. Not in 2021. Remember that she only really became a famous star in a real sense AFTER she lost her Olympic spot.
Just to conclude the thought, I’m saying it’s much more believable that the story we were told is the truth: her test revealed marijuana and nothing further, so she was able to be punished for marijuana and marijuana only, which is a relatively short suspension. There is no conspiracy here.

In 2019 she ran 10.75 - almost 4 years ago. Less than two years after that, she ran 10.72 - a time that is still close to the top 10 AT. Those are pretty damn good credentials.

You're stating this as if it's a fact and it's not the first time you've said it.
Link to a credible source that can corroborate your statement of STFU.

She will be one of probably 5 runners with an equal chance. So she has about a 20% chance of winning. She ran her 10.7 early for a professional, and she is also clinically cray cray, so I would never put her as the favorite. Julien Alfred and the 3 Jamaicans should be considered the top 3 contenders, and especially the 3 Jamaicans, will peak at the right time.
