This is not about grocery store prices, but those who clog up the self checkout line:

-About 15 items doesn't mean 30 or more, know your maths

-Don't teach your kid how to scan when there are 10 people in line

-Wait to talk on your phone until AFTER left the stands

-Bag as you go

-Use a basket, you don't need a big a$$ cart for bread and a can of soup

-Write down the produce code, instead of scrolling through the photos and not know the diff between a russet and a gold

And ya bro I'm mad but I feel better.

How about ranting at the store?

Hire more workers. If I wanted to scan and bag groceries, I would get a job at your store. Please don't make me work when I visit your store. I'm a consumer - not free labor.

Does no one see the irony and humor of my thread? I thought since over some bad events over the last week or so something lighthearted might bring a chuckle but since even Rojo thinks this is serious time it's to end this. I'll except a 0/10...or worse.

You don’t have to keep one hand on your cart, stretching out and taking up space as you gaze at the selection of meats or cheeses for minutes at a time, preventing others from getting what they want.

For some reason I was thinking about the "Count" from Sesame Street and counting items at the checkout. As a boomer and a mom concerned with my health and nutrition Count Chocula was only on TV not in my stomach.

I also want to add trying to use obscure cards or codes that don't work before checking in advance, and after they have run 20 items through the scanner and put them in the holding bit.

I'm happy with the machines.

Like the OP, it's the braindead actions of other people that irk me.

Personally, I'd pay to not have to interact with other humans while shopping.
