I'm really looking forward to Chelangat, Olemomoi, and Valby in the 5000. IS there anyone else that could challenge? It should be a fantastic race.
TFRRS shows all of them only running one race this spring - Valby a 5000 and the Alabama women running the 10000 at Bryan Clay.
Was she recovering from injury? Doesn’t seem she has raced much this outdoor season. Hope she’s alright, if so.

She just ran 15:32~ completely solo on a totally even pace as a qualifier (next fastest was a minute slower) . I would say she is probably fine.
Valby strategically skipped indoor because she knows outdoor is the season that really matters. In between grueling cross training sessions, she has been cramming in hours of studying tangents to prepare for racing on the track. NCAA Women's 5000m crown is hers to claim. Haters will be sent home devastated.
