Olemomoi, Valby & Chelangat in the 5k
Olemomoi, Valby & Chelangat in the 5k
That would be a fun race to see.
Womens 5,000 has 54 entries while the 10,000 only has 14. Does every team get a minimal amount of entries. A lot of No Previous Times are listed.
Many enter 5k in case something goes wrong in their earlier event, 10k,1500,800. If all goes well, they dns the 5k. 10k simply is not a favorite event, 25 laps is a grind. Sec really not a distance conference also.
A little bittersweet not seeing Gregory in that group, but yeah, this should be fun. Maybe another catch me if you can scenario: Valby away, solo @ 15:10 pace; the AL pair working together, in pursuit, closing....
I thought someone might ask if anyone could beat Arkansas Men or Women in the team race but I dont know what I was thinking....women's 5k supercedes again.
Sad to still not see Taylor Ewert listed anywhere? Anyone know if she’s still running?
Britton Wilson 400/400h
Any bets on times?
I'll say 53.1 and 49.2
50.24 / 55.27
Is she really going to run the 400, 400H, and 4x400 on the same day?
She did it last year
Does anyone know if they are having a Men's division this year?

I was wondering the same not long ago. The was a thread not long ago mentioning her being in the transfer portal. I have no idea if that is true or not. She has almost no social media presence so there aren’t any clues there. She has accounts but rarely posts anything.

Imagine creating an SEC thread and not mentioning sprints at all in the OP, and instead highlighting SEC distance... UGA with threats across the board. Boling has his work cut out for him however and winning is not close to straightforward. However I am happy he has not been run too frequent yet and looks like he is peaking for a later season this year.

So what? Three NCAA title contenders are competing against each other in the same race for the first time since XC. It's interesting to those of us that follow distance.
Cade Flatt knocked out in 800 prelims, Sumner up next.
Sumner thru w #1 seed 1:47.66. Flatt just having tough year. With 2 more recovery weeks and better fitness, he may still round into form for regionals.
Rose (has world standard for info) Barret and Wilkinson thru to w800 final.
Offili, Diggs, Effiong thru to 200final.
