Simpson's 5:01.70i is a big ask but the 15:07.64seems doable for her. Now is the time for her to do it because when regionals and NCAA finals roll around the temps are going to be higher. I hope she gets it.

That wikipedia article is a joke. They list Brynn Brown's 3200 time trial that wasn't even run a track. And who is the moran who added all the bright colors that makes almost unreadable?
It is well known that Wikipedia is at times a questionable source. It is an open collaboration website. There is a reason that profs and others do not accept it as a source for references.
H'm. This might be complicated but in order to qualify as a record you have to distinguish between indoor and outdoor, run the actual distance, and do it on a record eligible track. So the 305m Dempsey track at UW is not record eligible, for example. She remains the official record holder at all those distances. Deal with it.

These discussions about who holds what record are hilarious in how they trigger people. Can’t we be happy for any runner that holds or breaks a record? Tuohy haters bag on Tuohy. Tuohy fans bag on other runners. It’s exhausting.
