He won some marathon track races. How can we call him the best of all time when he never won a marathon on a real course? A real course destroys Kipchoge.

Those courses are real courses, too. He's likely to win either NY or Boston, possibly both, before he's done.
Hilly courses are gimmicks for slower runners
Fast and flat courses let you see who is the fittest
Tokyo Olympics is a real course and didn' t have pacemakers.
Then who is the best of all time?
Flat courses let you see who the fastest is, maybe. But hilly courses show you who the fittest and strongest are...
You're not even close to correct.
nobody really cares about Boston outside american hobby joggers. Probably why he didn't train properly for it and just jogged it in for an easy payday and so he could share some hashtag boston strong Instagram action
Kipchoge didn't win Boston, and he won't win NYC. Ever.
Winning all the World Marathon Majors is not in the cards. For the supposed GOAT.
Obvious troll attempt. A bad one at that.
“Races” with pacers are gimmicks.
Both ideas (that flat courses show who is fittest or that hilly courses show who is fittest) are completely idiotic.
Flat courses reveal who is best on flat courses. Hilly courses reveal who is best on hilly courses. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Indeed, tautologies are tautological.
It is not the hills that killed him, but the rainy, cold weather. Same happened in London 2020
I hope Kipchoge's Great American Tour continues in NYC this fall. We'll see how he stacks up against Bekele there. Bekele is a great hill runner.

Did E K call you or text you and complain about rain and cold weather? No.
Kenya is not Nigeria. Most of the year, Nairobi is (40 to 80)F. E K is not from Nairobi, he is from a higher elevation, correct? Temp. in Boston today (45 to 55)F.
I do not believe he was 18 when he won his first Olympic medal, I believe he was 20. I believe he is 40 now. Circle of life. E K is not the only man who raced near his best Marathon into his late 30's. Time for some new guys in Marathon to show us what they can do.
Can we stop this nonsense now that kipchoge would win UTMB? He missed one bottle and his whole race was cooked. For a race 1/4 the distance!
So if he had retired last month he would be the goat but lining up at almost 39 and running 209 diminshes the other (18?) marathons he has done? How idiotic. He won both olympics in the heat and has taken on all comers for 15 years. Take a logic course.
yeah but there were only 3 kenyans and 3 ethiopians in that race
You may not like it but Kipchoge isn't a hill runner. He got a little too comfortable with the flats and having pacers.
Maybe not the best but certainly top10.
