Downhill, mind you.
Only missed by 10 minutes!
With Chad's 2:14:13 and Ryan's best of 2:04:58, the Halls might have the fastest combined Boston bests of any two brothers. Their total of 4:19:11 is an average time of 2:09:35. Any other brothers average sub-2:10?

I just looked at winners, so this is by no means a deep dive, but the Hussein brothers averaged faster: 3-time champ Ibrahim ran 2:08:14 to win in 1992 and Mbarak ran 2:09:45 in 2002.
Also of note, Wesley Korir's best time was 2:10:49 when he was 5th in 2015 (even though he won in 2012) and his brother John ran 2:10:04 today.
I can think of a couple brothers and a couple father and son who have both gone sub-2:20 in Boston, but none that averaged sub-2:10. Maybe some Kenyan half-brothers or different last names?
Exactly!!! Downhill hasta las rocas ruedan my friend…
