Besides, the evidence indicates that transgender people are transgender before they ever come out of the womb -- they may just take a long time (or not such a long time) to figure it out.

Doctor/Endocrinologist

I get the POV that trans women playing sports with cis women is unfair. And as it affects cis women athletes, I can understand voicing it.

But many of you are taking this trans hate to a new level..

Let's start with Dylan Mulvaney. What exactly is the problem with a trans person accepting brand deals in a capitalist society? Would you rather she take handouts from the government? She's a person building a brand, and is apparently successful at it? Why is this a problem?

Gender Affirming Care: Who TF cares if you are not one of the three things above? Why does it matter to you what people take for medication, what surgeries they have, or anything at all? Are you bothered by face lifts, nose jobs and other plastic surgery? Are you bothered by teenage girls taking birth control pills? Are you bothered by kids taking hormones to stimulate growth spurts? All these things happen. If it's not you or your child why are you wasting energy thinking about this?

The thing about trans people is that they exist. I'm not sure why this is suddenly a problem. Again it's okay to have some debate especially if what they are asking for negatively affects others, but it's not okay to frame every trans person as a narcissistic lunatic because they want healthcare that works for them or they want to make money.

I love how it's considered "trans hate" to raise any objection against children taking puberty blockers or receiving sex-change surgeries.

I think part of the uproar over Mulvaney is that they act like a preteen girl rather than an adult woman. Some people see that as a step toward allowing pedophilia. I think that's a stretch in Mulvaney's case; it's probably more of an online persona for attention. That's the argument I see brought up though.

As far as people that don't have trans kids, many people who plan to have kids in the future, or have kids that could decide to transition later on, have concerns that if they do not allow their children to do so, they may face punishment or lose custody of their children. There is precedence for this in some places.

I'm usually of a similar mindset to yours, and I believe people should be left alone if they are not harming others. I do think it becomes a little trickier with children, as they often do not always know what is best for themselves, and parents need to intervene. Both sides could benefit from turning down the anger and trying to understand each other a little better. Most people would likely benefit from actually getting to know some trans people firsthand and seeing they are often just regular people and not what the media portrays.

Why not execute the parents on the spot? Why only prison for life? Prison for life is expensive. Think people think.

They don't want minors, especially trans girls, to have gender affirming care because they want trans people to be easily identifiable. They cannot ridicule trans people for their appearance if those people looked "normal." There is especially big fear among men about trans women looking feminine and attractive. If they are attracted to trans women, they feel like they are secretly bisexual, and it hurts their heterosexual identity.
