That is great! I wish I could have gotten a deal like that for Eugene! I love that they've kept the prices under control. That will help build the sport (or maintain it) in Europe. Smart move.
For the Diamond League Final down at Hayward (best track on Earth?), I got pretty good seats for $60 each (the ticket is good for both days, so that's a perk). But I bought four of them so I am out $240. That is not cheap for a track meet.
But for me, it is worth it. My family loves to go to big events like this and it is the only DL Final ever held in America, so we are in!
Heck, a family dinner out costs over $100 these days, so we might as well see the DL Final for what amounts to eating out at a good restaurant twice. Or going to Costco once...
Agree. I wonder if the Monaco ticket sale process is the same fiasco as for any event in Eugene? My wife said the Monaco deal woud be great if the trip was half price as well :)
