She says she will run a marathon this fall.

Wow, would've been an excellent battle seeing Keira D vs Emily. Now they are both injured! Definitely the two best female american distance runners ATM, hoping they both stay healthy for the trials. Any ideas what marathons they will run? World champs maybe? Or berlin/chicago...

But Boston now has more sub-218 and sub-220s (London has more sub-219s).

The number of sub-220s or whatever is less relevant than recent performances for the individual athlete and performances on technically challenging courses. Because Boston and London could not be more dissimilar as marathons. Which is why I am excited to see Kipchoge compete on the Boston course. No pacesetters, a technically challenging route, and it's about competing for the win and not the finishing time.

If you watch video of her running her form looks great, fluid and well-balanced, and it’s unlikely you could make any accurate gait-analysis based on this one photo…but if anything, her right foot looks like it’s supinating in this picture, not overpronating.

Yeah looked like supination (under pronation) which is usually fine for running health.

It was worse than a tweak. That is what she originally thought. Sadly it turned out to be a stress facture so she will be on the shelf a little longer than she expected.
