I was listening to Hannah Borenstein’s podcast with Chris Chavez and he asked about Gotytom. Hannah relayed that what bucks the trend is that she doesn’t have much interest in finding her husband and instead lives with her siblings who support her. They’ve taken up running as well inspired by her example. It did not seem like the expectation was that they were world beaters. Well, it turns out her 19-year-old brother runs 13:14 in the first race I see even listed on World Athletics. Looks like Haji Adilo might have another big prospect on his hands. Either way thought it was cool:

I can't think of many cases where a brother and sister were both world class. Plenty of siblings who are both male or both female but not one of each.

Yeah I was thinking Tamirat Tola, but that is his younger brother and wife (not sister) who swept the Dubai marathons. Katelyn Tuohy’s brother I’ve seen posted about, but thats very young so too early to say. Sydney McLaughlin and Matthew Centrowitz have good ncaa if not pro-level siblings. Then there were the Matons. The Ingrebridsten sister didn’t pan out. I’m sure there’re more on the very good/NCAA level but seems rare at the elite level as you say.

Good call! Alabama has/had the siblings Mercy Chelangat and Vincent Kiprop, both quite good NCAA runners.
