ICYMI- @usatf has posted the entry standards for #USATFOutdoors (Jul 6-9, Eugene). Vs. 2022, the standards for women have gotten tougher, like:

800m: 2:00.50 to 1:59.80
1500m: 4:05.70 to 4:05.00
5K: 15:13.00 to 15:09.59
10K: 31:45.00 to 31:32.00

5k and 10k are incredibly slow. Converting it to men, that’d be 13:39 and 29:00

whats the point of lowering the distance standards for the women when they are already having to fill half the fields with athletes below the standard anyways?
