This meet is a joke. Tyreek wouldn’t even win D2 Nationals. According to world athletics, his time ranks 74th in the country this year.

In context 6.70 given his size, competition, and length from last time competing is impressive. IMO. I hope he keeps going. This is a great debut.
It’s a decent opener, and nothing but. it’s not like he’s out of shape, and never sprints/accelerates.
I haven’t watched his race, but remember that a much younger, much bigger Harbor just went the same time.
I would want to see Hill around 6.55 to show real promise. We’ll see, I hope he keeps at it and improves👍👍
A fantastic athlete. Any NFL star getting exposure for track is a good thing.
Tyreek Hill is a woman abuser. & 6.7 is way faster than I could ever run but isn't impressive globally. Hard pass.

He’s 20-30 pounds heavier than he would run at, so it’s pretty good. Harbor will have to gain 20-30 pounds himself in college to play at a high level, so not exactly a fair comp.
Nice to see an nfl player doing track. Too many of them are scared to get smoked. Props to DK Metcalf for his 10.3 100m recently as well.
Is there drug testing at these events

Congratulations to domestic abuse enthusiast Tyreek Hill for losing to a D3 athlete today.
Does Paul Swangaard announced the USATF Masters Champs?
Or was this a one-off?

Tyrone Wheatley ran some indoor 60s after he was with the Giants. He ran extremely well for his big bruising rb frame.

The Giants had Henry Carr, Homer Jones who both beat Hayes at 200m in college. Add Butch Woolfolk, Clarence Childs, Wheatley, Giants had some speed.
The fact that this race even took place is a MF joke.
I remember in my late 30s getting prepared to turn 40 so that I could finally compete in Masters T&F. There was no age group under 40.
Then, they added a 35-39 division. Lame, but ok, whatever.
Now they have a 25-29 age group at the MASTERS indoor champs? I'm sorry, I don't care if having an NFL guy in his prime "brings attention to the sport" he's racing against a bunch of other scrubs who would never get past quarters at any legit meet for 25-29 year olds. If Tyreek is legit fast (and he kind of is), then race the Open cat at a legit meet with Under-30s who are still competing.
Masters T&F is horribly cheapened by having Under-35 anything. This is bullshnizzle.
The fact that various REAL track athletes can compete in the Open category at world class level into their mid-30s shows there shouldn't be an under-35 category at Masters.
Shelly Ann Fraser-Price
Allyson Felix
Justin Gatlin
Arguably, they shouldn't have added the 35-39 cat, we're at a point where 35 years old can still win Diamond League events. Bring back the 40yo cutoff. And quit contriving these bogus categories like 25-29 at Masters meets for poser wannabes like Tyreek Hill. He's welcome to compete with his peers at normal Open meets.

Yeah I thought it was a misprint 25yr old 'masters' really ?
