Another tidbit I liked is that while watching the recent Kenyan Weekend Meet, he was enjoying it but was itching to jump in a race. After World XC, he beat Stewart McSweyn with some ease in running 7:41 at Maurie Plant (on a windy day), with obviously not a ton of time to recover from World XC.
Kenya gets 4 in the 5,000 this year (Kipkorir Kimeli has the DL bye), and while I'd say Jacob Krop is a lock that leaves 2 spots potentially up for grabs (Simiyu Ebenyo certainly a strong contender if he doubles).
