TheAthleteSpecial claimed in his recent video that Jakob drinks Redbull prior to races. Is this true?

Isn’t Jakob’s training/life pretty well documented - reality show back home and so forth? Feels like this would be easy to demonstrate if true. I can’t imagine it’s true.

In one of the original family episodes, it shows him taking red bull before a diamond league I believe. So it has happened, I don’t know about always

Athlete Special and friends seem pretty obsessed with Jakob. He's a great runner, but that's mostly due to his genetics. It's not like every scrub doing double threshold sessions is going to run a 3:30 1500.

Red Bull gives you the same caffeine into a tiny can as other energy drinks put in a big can, but people somehow still want the little can. Makes sense before a race, at least

It would be extremely foolish for anyone to drink redbull before a long distance race. I would have to see him drink the whole thing, is this just a promotion for some cash? Sponsorship ?

I've seen it claimed that Red Bull gives you wings. Maybe it is true if Jakob uses it.

Jakob could be genetically predisposed to being highly responsive to taurine.

Plus Jakob runs twice as much as the Athlete Special does and lifts too unlike Spencer, it’s not just the double threshold

I have only seen him getting a tattoo before he races.

Most likely due to genetics? Jakob has been training full time since he came out of the womb. That helps a bit.
