She sounded like a 13 year old valley girl. Kept using words like “legit” and “totally” and due to her giant ego had to make way too many references to herself and her own career. I hope that we never have to listen to her again. I seriously turned the sound down when she came on.

At this point just admit you don't like hearing women's voices.
This "criticism" might have some merit if male announcers were any good at all, but when you listen to flotrack, mile split and runnerspace they are awful too but there aren't threads on them.

Here 'guys' is countable, so it should be: there are a lot of guys
Even if 'guys' was singular, it should still technically be: there are a lot of guy
But this doesn't make sense, because you can't have a lot of a singular countable thing (by definition if there is a single copy of something there is not 'a lot').
So basically its singular vs plural.
...
Anyway I thought she was fine. We just need someone with a nice voice to commentate track for once. Johnny Cash or someone like that.

Plenty of threads on those buffoons. Stop trying to put words into people’s mouths. I have a feeling you have this habit in your daily life as well. The narrative that you’ve created in your brain likely has very little reflection in reality.
