Today it was announced that 5 people had amassed perfect scorse on the WA 2022-23 XC series from winning 3 meets each and thus would split the cash prizes ($9k for some). It's crazy that they didn't have a requirement that you also run World xc to get the $$$.
Only 2 of the 5 ran at world xc.

Rodrigue Kwizera - BDI - 8th at world xc. 27:25 guy on track
Thierry Ndikumwenayo - BDI/ESP - DNC. Has track pbs of 7:25/12:59
Yann Schrub - France - DNC. Has track pbs of 7:40/13:37/27:47
Women
Rahel Daniel - Eritrea - 57th world xc (not a good day for her as she was 5th in the 10,000 in Eugene)
Lucy Mawia- Kenya - DNC. Only has track pbs of pbs of 15:10/31:50/69:38.
I think I need to have Jonathan Gault update his article on which xc runners will make it to Worlds on ranking.
