I love how Grant has the huge indoor win streak. It really bothers me how he struggles at the end of his 110 h races. Today, he did the opposite of what he normally does. Started off behind and finished like a freight train.

I was encouraged to see this too. He’s definitely in his own head the last 3 hurdles outdoors. In this one he was behind after 1 and basically evened it up after 2 hurdles before dusting Roberts. Parchment to be fair is a scary fast closer outdoors.
Eh, Roberts hit the last two hurdles. It wasn't a comeback based purely on speed.
It wasn't a "crushing" victory.
Talk about a pro description of a race. Grant started how he normally does, it was Roberts that did something different with that blistering start. And the race was over at hurdle 3, which is why Roberts pressed and clipped the hurdles. For the record, there is no such thing as "if he would not have hit the hurdles..." it is a hurdle race, and managing them is a part of the race. That being said, Grant's streak is incredible because he averages somewhere around 7.40!!!! He has single handedly rewritten the all time list.
In regards to his outdoors races it is fairly simple, he runs too fast, tries to press the gas late and creates 2 fundamental problems for himself; he has to brake to survive, and he runs out of gas. When he learns to control his speed he will break the wr. Although, 12.80 is a serious marker
